Priced for public budgets

Extremely competitive pricing, built for city and county budgets. Buy minutes as you need them, or prepay. Tell us how many meetings you hold and which languages you need, and we'll send you a quote.

How it works

Pay for the minutes you caption

A minute is a minute of meeting captioned live. When captioning is paused for a recess or closed session, those minutes aren't used. Your quote depends on the hours of meetings you hold and the languages you need.

  • No hardware to buy: use the encoder you already have
  • No per-viewer fees: everyone in the room and online can read along
  • Buy minutes as you need them, or prepay
  • Captioning pauses for recess and closed session, so paused time isn't used
  • Works natively with CivicCA

Questions

Pricing questions

What counts as a minute?

Time the meeting is being captioned live. Time before the stream starts, after it ends, and while captioning is paused isn't counted.

Do we pay for each person who reads the captions?

No. Everyone in the chamber, on their phone or watching the livestream can read along at no extra cost.

Can we prepay for the year?

Yes. You can prepay, or buy minutes as you need them. Tell us which works better for your budget cycle.

Do translations cost more?

Each translation language adds to the cost of a meeting, so your quote is based on the languages you choose. You can choose different languages for different meetings.

Do we need to buy hardware?

No. If you livestream your meetings today, you already have the encoder SentraCaptions needs. The chamber screen runs on any TV with a web browser.
